With an insatiable drive and love for her homeland, she founded Exalt Africa and became one of the top destination wedding planners for luxury weddings in Africa. Mwai is a serial entrepreneur, author, cancer survivor, wife and mother on a mission to connect people who love Africa and hail from her shores.

Mwai has never been interested in making a name for herself but she has been hyperfocused on making a difference. While she’s won many awards including being nominated to the United Nations’ International Decade for People of African Descent (2015-2024) under 40 Global 100 list, this podcast isn’t about her accolades or accomplishments.
